| Evacuation |
If an evacuation order is issued for your building, fully cooperate with Public Safety and:
-
Take keys, briefcases, purses, wallets, coats, and other personal belongings with you.
- Do not use elevators.
- Close, but do not lock, doors.
- Turn off all electronics, including computers (except in the case of a gas leak).
- Evacuate in groups to ensure all are able to get out.
- Provide assistance for those with physical disabilities.
- Evacuate in a safe, orderly manner.
ONLY PUBLIC SAFETY OR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CAN ISSUE THE ORDER TO RETURN TO YOUR BUILDING
